Location Metochi Lodge
Platanos is an authentic village in the Kissamos province, 1 hour drive from Chania International Airport and close to the famous sandy beaches of Falassarna and Balos.

The village offers all facilities for a comfortable and relaxing stay with a fantastic bakery offering fresh bread and delicious coffee all day, a pharmacy, petrol station, small supermarket, ATMs and a fine choice of restaurants.
From the lodge you look out over the mountains & the majestic blue bay of Falassarna beach, accessible by car (about 6 km). The house is located on a hill, in the middle of olive groves and you will find peace and tranquility with only a few other houses nearby.
Metochi Lodge is reached via a dirt road about 1.5 km from the main road outside the village on the way to the next village of Sfinari. We recommend renting a slightly higher car to drive smoothly on this road and other roads on the island that give access to secluded beaches.
